Assists in ensuring that our campus is focused and dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our students through providing programs, projects and services to promote good physical and mental attitudes.

Hospitality

Open: volunteer!

This group works to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere at Vista Ridge. This committee provides special activities at various times of the year and acts as a host for certain PTSA events and staff functions. The tasks center on food events: planning the menu, preparing the volunteer sign-up, and setting up and cleaning up after the events. Typically there are 4-5 events per year, including the welcome-back staff breakfast, a fall staff breakfast, the Soup for the Soul luncheon in February, and Teacher Appreciation Week in May (assisting student council with this event).

Reflections

Open: volunteer!

The Reflections Program is an annual nationally sponsored PTA program that gives students the opportunity to showcase their creativity. Promote the program, collect student artwork submissions, find volunteer judges, submit entries to district to move on, and provide recognition to students.
